Description The aim of the research study was to determine the number of pupils benefiting from the support measures of individual grades in primary schools. On the basis of the main aim were set partial aims, which were mainly focused on identifying the most common type of disability or disadvantage in primary schools, the main source of information for the headmasters about individual types of disability or disadvantage, or analyzing the level of conditions for the education of pupils with special educational needs in terms of equipment and personnel capacity. These aims were based on three hypotheses which were tested in the research study. All determined hypotheses were confirmed on the basis of the obtained results. To achieve the aim of the research study was used a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire of own design.
