| Description | Art and environmental issues are reference points of this publication, while their communion in Czech sphere is its topic. This area is analysed against background of wider artistic and social development starting in the 60s of 20th century up to the break of millennium. The book is divided into six chapters dedicated to selected works of renowned artists (Václav Cigler, Jan Steklik, Miloš Šejn, Federico Díaz…). Their interpretations illuminate original approaches to the question and in the bottom line imply more general results and characteristics of green interests in Czech art. The work observes one of the threads of historical research of recent era and its aim is to contribute to better learning of the problematics, which had not been dealt with properly. |
