Addictive Behavior of Full-time Students at Masaryk University and Options in its Prevention

| Description | They are presented the results of three extensive questionnaire-based studies. Full-time Masaryk University students frequently consume alcohol, tobacco, black coffee, cannabinoids, to a lesser extent hallucinogens, sedatives and ecstasy. On academic board has been recorded activity by drug dealers. Normally operated activities include work with computers, internet and mobile phone. The prevalence of lifetime experience with slot machines was 30%, with computer games 80 %, with betting more than 40%. More than a fifth of the sample was approached addiction prevention, especially at the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Medicine. Activities out of faculties were occurred infrequently. In terms of prevention are used mainly monologue lectures, their focus is mainly the issues of alcohol and nicotine, lack of continuity and orderliness. |
