Description In the presented monograph, authors theoretically reflect the results of an extensive empirical sociological research (MUNI/A/0990/2015), which a research team of the Department of Music at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University conducted in Brno in 2016. The authors of the text examine the musical preferences of university students in the Czech Republic for artificial music of the last third of the 20th century, thus completing the project of the research of musicality which has mapped a wide spectrum of the problems and efficacy of general music education in the Czech Republic in primary and secondary schools. They expand on the research carried out in the years 2011–2015. (MUNI/A/0885/2011, MUNI/A/0711/2012, MUNI/A/1309/2014), using the technique of an online sound questionnaire.
