Description Recent research results and practical experiences show that the school physical education is not congruent concerning its projected and realised forms of curricula. The content of the PE curriculum doesn´t contain only physical skills but also relevant knowledge. From the research results conducted on the representative sample of the Czech population in the age from 15 to 60 years of age show that the knowledge component of the PE curricula is being left behind. Thus, the students are not informed about the theoretical knowledge needed for acquiring personal physical activity regime.
