| Description | The use of phonetic transcription went through an interesting development since the 18th century. Phonetic transcript from the beginning of the 20th century became the base for the phonetic transcription in the latest pronunciation vocabularies such as DUDEN Bd. 6 Das Aussprachewörterbuchas as well as the latest vocabulary Deutsches Aussprachewörterbuch 2009. Especially the later describes the contemporary spoken German language well and so it is suitable for the studies and education of future teachers of German language. |
