Description The paper presents not so much usual interdisciplinarity - didactics of chemistry and educational communication. These branches have common research areas, which include communication between a teacher and students in chemistry instruction. Asking teachers´ questions and creation of students´ answers fundamentally affect the effectiveness of instruction. Teacher skills to create and ask questions belong to skills which future teachers begin to acquire during their study, but they develop them the whole professional life. Students during the instruction of didactics of science reported that they worried about examination, specifically to formulate questions and evaluate students´ answers. The paper presents part of the theory dealing with questions and answers from the perspective of educational communication in the context of didactics of chemistry. They are also given concrete examples and results of qualitative research dealing with issues of questions and answers.
