Description The presentation describes a method of using mnemonics for teaching inorganic nomenclature within chemistry teaching 8th grade elementary school. As one of the key aspects analyzes the impact of mnemonics to understand nomenclatural principles. The paper gives a survey based on a comparison of final grade pupils taught inorganic terminology using mnemonics and pupils taught by traditional teaching methods without mnemonics.
