| Description | A strong accent is typical contemporary German pronunciation, thus the stressed syllable weakens the unstressed syllables greatly. Thus, in German the majority of syllables are unstressed reduced syllables which have only reduced vocals in the kernel: weakened E and vocalized R. On the other hand, in Czech language are all syllables are pronounced fully articulated, no reduction takes place. Omitting the accent of the stressed syllable and not reducing the other syllables is one of the most mistakes in pronunciation German language as a foreign language. |
