Citation
Description The European cultural identity is often used as an argument to justify the existence of international cooperation it the European Union. This argumentation strongly influences the cultural policies of the Member States and of the EU itself. It is based on the idea of a common cultural basis of Europe. Because of it, it may be used as an ideological base of Europeanization. The aim of this paper is to summarize whether this idea is real (even in the EU legal acts).
