Description	The paper deals with the entrance exam for the Faculty of Sport Studies at Masaryk University in the field of gymnastics for the academic year 2012/2013. We analyzed the relationship of gymnastic results with the overall results of the practical entrance exam. To evaluate the results, we used basic statistical characteristics (average, median, standard deviation), t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient.
