| Description | This book focuses on the support of people with special needs in several countries. Attention is given to education and strategies in it, employment and working experiences of people with disabilities and disadvantage. Further on, some chapters concentrate on labelling (stigma) arising on the basis of disability, living conditions or institutional care and art creation as a possibility of (self-)expression and development. The main topic of this book is the participation of people with disabilities in the life in society and the conditions which can contribute to it. The situations in several countries together with the results of the research studies are presented here. |
