Description The presentation deals with the research design of a study which is going to examine the influence of systematic and methodical use of pedagogical translation in ELT on learners’ language skills. The aim of the study is to answer the following research question: What influence does the use of pedagogical translation in ELT have on the development of learners’ language skills? The research is designed as pretest-posttest controlled group quasi-experiment.
