Description This chapter characterizes educational and supportive measures in early and preschool age children with severe disabilities. We analyse the tasks of early intervention on the basis of the Social Services Act and an example based on interviews showing satisfaction of mothers with provided care. Results based on survey research. Conditions in nursery schools for teaching children with disabilities and in preparatory classes in special schools are discussed in detail; attention is paid to the use of the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education.
