| Description | The chapter presents three phases, from 1989 to the present, in development of status of people with disabilities in society in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, three important laws, which affect the content of this book, and their impact in practice are analysed. These are: the Education Act, the Anti-Discrimination Act and the Social Services Act. The chapter presents references to research investigations and their outcomes concerning inclusive education carried out at the Faculties of Education at MU, CU in Prague and UP in Olomouc. |
