Description	The chapter presents autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) clinical manifestation. We describe three major areas of clinical symptoms in qualitative terms, which include problems in social behaviour, deficits in verbal and nonverbal communication, and restricted repetitive and stereotyped patterns of behaviour and interests. Furthermore, the incidence and etiopathogenesis are presented, and developmental aspects of autism clinical manifestation from early childhood to adulthood are analysed.
