Description The chapter presents pupils with epilepsy in mainstream schools. It explains the impact of epilepsy on learning concerning various aspects: psychosocial, psychological and pedagogical aspects. Factors such as cognitive abilities, personality structure and socio-cultural environment are analysed; they influence the development and learning of pupils with epilepsy. Attention is also paid to the question why these pupils of average or above-average intellect can develop difficulties in learning and behaviour.
