| Description | There is a high percentage of children with diagnosis such as behavioral disorders or diagnosis connected with behavioral diffi culties in pedopsychiatric hospitals. In contrast, there is only a little emphasis placed on focused special educational intervention in these institutions. Therefore the aim of this qualitative study was to explore experts' view on possibilities of special educational involvement in children's ward of mental hospital. Study summarizes experts opinions and attitudes, outlines main causes and problems limiting wider application of special needs education, as well as suggestions on how to handle this situation. Results are divided into two parts. First one is focused on education of current employees, second one aims on possible involvement of teacher for children with behavioral diffi culties as a member of a therapeutic team. |
