Description The chapter presents the results of the analysis focused on the communication skills of pupils with mild intellectual disabilities enrolled in practical primary schools. The text presents the theoretical basis concerning communication and communication disorders, focuses on pupils with mild intellectual disabilities, describes the pupils' characteristics, their education options, and communication disorders in individuals with mild intellectual disabilities. The results of qualitative research tell us about communication disorders occurring in various language levels, and during communication in education and speech intervention.
