Description The authors were involved in several projects dealing with CLIL. They gained most direct experience during their collaboration with the teachers at ten basic and secondary schools in the Vysočina region. The present contribution draws on this experience and discusses different aspects of CLIL and its implementation at Czech schools. Some pitfalls of the method are identified and selected recommendations for teachers are presented.
