Description Individualization is one of the key components of the educational process. Can be implemented in various forms, but the goal is always to allow the maximum extent mastery of the curriculum and the development of key competencies as many pupils with regard to different degrees of skills and dispositions. The strategy of individual student performance evaluation is an effective approach for teaching difficult topic areas (such as chemical calculations, chemical nomenclature) in the subject of chemistry. The paper deals with the practical application of individual ratings for specific examples of teaching selected thematic units in chemistry lessons at school. The paper is also research evaluating the effectiveness of this method in practice, teaching at the elementary school.
