Description This paper is devoted to children with speech impairment who attend regular elementary school in the Czech Republic. As part of the research, whose preliminary results are summarized in the text, these students were tracked supportive measures used for meeting their special educational needs. A student with a communication disorder that has been integrated in the elementary school needs to educate in his speech took place appropriate interventions are implemented appropriate teaching methods accepting student individuality, his skills and experience leading to the possibility of success in teaching in the communication process. Emphasis should be put on the methodological support of his teachers and the availability of counseling services for the child and his family at home or school, the student attends or directly to her.
