Description Currently, inclusive education is preferred and supported approach to students with special educational needs in the Czech Republic. However, on the margin of interest quite unjustly remains inclusion at vocational colleges which educate a high percentage of students with SEN after completion of compulsory education. Inclusive attitudes, culture and policy of vocational colleges belong among the main factors of successful inclusion of students with SEN, forming attitudes of students without disabilities and their families towards persons with disabilities. Furthermore, it is an important factor of social inclusion of students with SEN in adulthood. The article presents an international project TILE – Towards Inclusive learning Environments, which focuses on creation of a self-assessment tool for VET colleges.
