The aim of this bachelor's study program is to equip applicants with the necessary professional knowledge and the necessary minimum of psychological-pedagogical knowledge for successful work in education in the field of informatics.
“Let us learn from the best of us.”
The program is also a program that in combination with a follow-up teaching program at MU, prepares graduates for the teaching profession.
Part of this study program is a compulsory pedagogical, continuous and reflective assistant practice in the total range of about 110 hours (4 ECTS credits).
The graduate is ready to continue studying in a follow-up teaching program at MU or can work in various training centers with a focus on IT training.
In this type of studies, the students focus on the main degree programme (120 credits) supplemented with another, minor, programme (60 credits). The student enrols in the degree programme in which he/she majors. Both the programmes are stated in the university diploma. You will find possible combinations on the websites of individual degree programmes. An exception is programmes preparing students for teaching professions, where both fields of study are equal and the thesis may be written in any of them.
Graduates typically continue to pursue teacher education programs at MU to gain the competence of a secondary school teacher.
