For example, you'll spend more than 500 hours on placement during the five years of your teacher training. Brno is an ideal city to study in. University students make up one-fifth of the population in Brno. While during the day, students fill the classrooms of the four public universities. In the evening, they sit in renowned cafés, stylish pubs, award-winning bars, or wine bars with wines from South Moravia.

During your studies with us, you can go out into the world for an experience. We offer a wide range of study and work placements from Bratislava to Hong Kong. In total, that's nearly 200 destinations in Europe, Asia and North America. We'll be happy to help you manage everything administratively and financially.

Throughout the year, we organise many different events that you can come and watch or get involved in organising. For example, you can take part in readings, exhibitions, concerts, screenings, lectures, theatre performances, joint faculty breakfasts and even the lighting of the Christmas tree.

Forget about paperwork, most of the paperwork is handled directly in the MU Information System. Registering for courses, and exams, applying to the study department, communicating with teachers, using electronic scripts - you can do it all from any computer.
