Join in: bike to work with PED MUNI
Faculty of Education of Masaryk University newly joins the initiative Go to work by bike! Let's take part in the challenge and together support sustainable mobility, psychological well-being and an active lifestyle. Registration is free for the first 30 faculty employees.
Join thousands of participants in the May Bike to Work Challenge. Simply form teams of 2 to 5 people with your colleagues, sign up and bike, walk or run to work throughout May. Employees can form teams with colleagues from departments or divisions, or completely randomly across the faculty. Students can also participate by paying their own registration fee.
The faculty is offering to pay the registration fee for the first 30 registered employees!
Simply select the organization when registering: the Masaryk University, Faculty of Education, register via employee email and choose to have the fee reimbursed by the employer.
How to join?
- Team up with colleagues in a team of 2 - 5 people
- Register with Masaryk University, Faculty of Education
- Fill in your profile and join your team
- Wait for the approval of the faculty coordinator
- You will receive a t-shirt/socks before the start of the challenge
- Walk, run or ride a bike, scooter, skateboard, wheelchair, skates
- Log your journeys using mobile apps or via the web
- Enjoy accompanying T-shirt events in Brno
- Come to the award ceremony held at the faculty (date to be announced)
All participants in the challenge will receive organic cotton t-shirts or socks. The best ones from all over the country will also receive great prizes such as bicycles, scooters, tours or tickets to various sports and cultural events.

What challenges will you be involved in?
Faculty Challenge
Evaluation will be done in two categories - Individual Performance and Team Regularity. After the completion and recording of all the results, a Faculty Challenge Meeting will be organized and the results will be announced. In addition to small gifts and refreshments provided, our faculty participants can share their experiences and feelings about the May Bike to Work Challenge.
City Challenge
All participants take part in the Brno challenge in the categories - Team Regularity, Green Kilometres and Green Kilometres on your own. During the challenge it is possible to take part in several T-shirt events, which are organized for all participants from Brno and its surroundings. More about the Brno challenge here
National call
Together, the results for the whole faculty are entered into a national challenge organised directly by the organiser of the Auto-mat project, which announces the most successful individuals and teams.
