| Description | The article was created as the result of the research oriented at innovation of methods, content and forms of school teaching of mathematics in connection with improvement of university education of future teachers of mathematics. The article deals with the topic of teaching real numbers at school mathematics. After a brief introduction devoted to arithmetic and geometric models of real numbers, there follows a description of the possibility how to represent values of some goniometrical functions by expressions in the form of fractions. Further the expressions are represented approximately with the help of continued fractions. In the conclusion there are mentioned also algebraic and transcendental numbers. |
