| Description | The present study endeavors to develop a model of culturally competent, family-centered, and fidelity-driven Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services grounded in the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for Ukrainian families displaced to the Czech Republic. To this end, a systematic training package was designed to teach caregivers to plan and implement foundational skills with their children with autism. The multiple probe across behaviors design was utilized, and practitioners collaboratively established targets, implemented group lectures, and conducted one-on-one training sessions to support caregivers. The acquisition of skills was evaluated based on caregiver needs, and the results indicated improvements in the domains of rapport-building communication and co-play. The results of the study indicated that the program was socially valid, contributed to skill gains, and enhanced quality of life. |
