Description Writing a good text is a great challenge for students of German as a foreign language and usually a lengthy process. Cooperative writing as a teaching and learning method can open the way to a good text by sensitizing the writing process. It can be also used a research method for exploring authentic processes during writing interaction. The paper presents the pre-research of the interaction in the co-operative writing of German students using ethnomethodological conversational analysis.
