|Description||The paper deals with development of nutritional literacy of children in the school environment. It introduces the listener to the delimitation of the curriculum on nutrition in current educational documents and concepts of the curriculum in the textbooks for primary education. The aim of the paper is to highlight common ignorance of the above issues in basic education and on the pitfalls when deploying the nutritional issues into the school curriculum. Analyzes in more detail in textbooks for primary schools, where refers to the conception in the nutritional education, but also on the amount not entirely correct or misleading information. At the same time draws attention to the absence of crucial information for shaping the nutritional literacy of children and their subsequent correct nutritional behavior. In the conclusions of the contribution are summarized the main recommendations for the successful education of children in nutrition.|
