| Description | The skill to search for information in the text belongs to the most important skills necessary for study. The authors of this text have found that pupils of eight-year secondary schools in some cases are not so successful in seeking for information in text as their peers from nine-year elementary schools. This seems to be in conflict with the fact that pupils of eight-year secondary schools are chosen to be more talented for study. The authors discuss this phenomenon and try to find at least some of the reasons. |
