School Profile
We are a school with a sports focus. A total of 472 pupils are educated across three buildings. Grades 1 to 4 are located in separate, remote facilities, offering a smaller, family-type school environment. We provide a calm background especially for younger children, afternoon relaxation in after-school clubs, and time spent in the pleasant environment of school gardens. Our motto: a school full of life.
Unique Features of the School
In Grade 1, we teach reading and writing using the genetic method and achieve excellent results. In the upper grades, we use the SOLE teaching method (more on the website). At the second stage, we have classes with a sports focus (football), and since September 2016, we have been educating sports talents from the South Moravian Region in the Regional Football Academy. We have a total of 4 computer classrooms, all main classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, and we run a number of projects.
Values
We have enough space for children from various ethnic groups and nationalities, we know how to work with children with special educational needs, we address all emerging issues, and we have effective prevention of undesirable phenomena. Pupils and parents are equal partners for us – we strengthen mutual communication. We participate in activities of the municipal district and offer cooperation with other educational institutions.
