Let's celebrate the traditional Czech winter holiday together!
On 12 September 2024, the Senate awarded the Medals of the Ministry of Education to important personalities of Czech pedagogy. The medals, which are the highest award in the field of education and upbringing, were presented by the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Mikuláš Bek. One of them was awarded to Mgr. Daniela Taylor, Ph.D. from the Department of Music Education.
Justification for the award:
Mgr. Daniela Taylor, Ph.D.
Ms. Daniela Taylor has been in the teaching environment since 1999 and her heart is music education. Throughout her experience, she has worked with a variety of age groups, even children as young as 18 months old. Since 2016, she has been working as a subject didactic at the Department of Music Education at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University, where she teaches courses focused on preschool pedagogy, first
and second grade. Not only does she inspire and motivate students with her approach, but she is also an excellent organizer of professional workshops. She is the author of a set of textbooks for the first grade of primary school called "Playful Music Education". Mrs. Daniela Taylor is very friendly, supportive and always willing to help her students.
