Project details

Project develops an European platform in context with biology, chemistry and physics for formal and informal science education. This platform enables teacher's training and education concerning the European priority "Meaningful Utilisation of Energy" aiming at knowledge-based European citizens. Statements "Safety, energy, environment" are reflected based on knowledge and can be discussed in a meaningful way
The External Funding European Unit EFEU active monitors the EU Energy and Climate Change policy. These are significant because they involve legislation which local authorities will be involved in implementation, because they offer funding opportunities, and/or provide opportunities to exchange good practice.

Senseful Utilisation of Energy

This Intensive Programme develops an European Platform in context with biology, chemistry and physics for formal and informal education and informationbased on an universitary level. This platform enables teacher training and education concerning the European priority Senseful Utilisation of Energy aiming at knowledge-based European citizens. To start interest is the task of formal education at school, for this the teacher is a most important opinion leader. Knowledge-based discussion between European regions avoids opposite and irreconcilable points of view. Statements and media-information

Some intermediate outputs of the project

The Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University has developed a course program materials specially geared towards the requirements of education in the European Energy Scheme. Participants receive comprehensive training in a complex field that requires many different skills in energy education framework. The innovative course program starts on  November 2009.
